Site last updated by PHA.If your remote is not respondingMake sure the batteries are good (the green, red, blue and green buttons should light up when you push a button)If so press the “watch” button on the remote-On the sr150 remote the system should change to the next option (BlueRay, ect…)– on the sr250 the remote will show a list of devices to choose from.If still no response hit the room off button on the top of the remote. Then manually shut off all equipment. Then push the red 4 button on the remote, and see if the system responds.– If the system still is not responding. Unplug the power out of the back of the controller. Plug back in after about 10 sec.Wait 10 minutes after plugging the system back in, Push the red 4 button and see if the system is working. If still no worky – Call MeOne of the main problems that we run into is with the Cable box. When you are watching a TV show and choose to record the show and then shut off the system. The Control4 system sends the code to power off all equipment, But the cable box answers the command saying “I am recording would you like to continue recording or shut off the system” With no answer given to the cable box it stays powered on.Then we jump to the next time you power on the system and send a power toggle code to the cable box with the control4 system, instead of turning on the cable box, that you believe you are doing, you are actually powering off the cable box. Because the cable box never shut off. Manually power on the cable box and you should be good to go.Portland Home Automation.503.740.3870.
